Rabbit! Rabbit! It’s the first day of December and the Holidays are here! We here at KidsFunPlaza are super excited to celebrate the Holidays with our friends and family of the Capital Region. With so many fun things to do over the next few weeks, I am sure you and your family with be chock- full of Holiday Spirit in no time. From The Addams Family dancing up a storm at Proctors theater to a magnificent train ride on The Polar Express, there is surely enough fun for the whole family. Features silent auction, book nook, antiques, collectibles, jewelry, linens, and baked goods, will be held Friday, December 2, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday, December 3, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Saratoga Springs United Methodist Church, 175 Fifth Avenue (corner of Henning Road). The silent auction, with gifts from local merchants and service providers, ends bidding Saturday noontime.- Times Union Events
Ballston Spa Holiday Parade and Tree Lighting,

A holiday tradition, “hometown-style” as the village of Ballston Spa rings in the season with this festive weekend celebration. Events include the Holiday Parade on Friday, December 2; step off at 6:30 pm, with holiday floats, musicians and carolers, animals, fire trucks and more. Santa lights the village tree at Wiswall Park at approximately 7:45. Shops and restaurants will be open that evening with music, refreshments, demonstrations and displays as part a special holiday-themed version of the village’s monthly First Friday event! – Ballston Spa Events

Malta Ballet Company presents The Nutcracker at The Egg

The Nutcracker Ballet is based on the story “The Nutcracker and the King of Mice” written by E.T.A. Hoffman. Although what is seen on the stage today is different in detail from the original story, the basic plot remains the same; The story of a young German girl who dreams of a Nutcracker Prince and a fierce battle against a Mouse King with seven heads.
